A.C.E. Jr. Clinics:
Are 10 week sessions that coincide with the Wimbledon 109 schedule. Each
clinic is 1 ½ hours long and all are supervised by a U.S.P.T.A.
professional.
U.S.T.A. membership is encouraged, but not required, for any junior
enrolling in A.C.E. Application to A.C.E. does not guarantee
placement. To make sure your child is properly placed in our program,
evaluations are strongly recommended. Evaluations are free of charge and
are required for those
new to the program.
A.C.E. Rates:
$325 for Junior Members (Student must be a Member to qualify).
$375 for non-Members
The final schedule is based on enrollment.
Challenger: Ages 9-12
For intermediate juniors who have moderate
rallying ability.
Students are familiar with basic rules and scoring and must have
previous tennis experience.
Championship: Ages 9-12
For advanced juniors who have
successfully completed our challenger program and have been recommended
to move up. Students must have consistent rallying ability. Students
must have knowledge of all correct grips and swing patterns.
High Performance: 12 Years and up
For our top level juniors who have a pro’s
recommendation and/or successfully completed our championship program.
Students must have previous match play experience and have a good
understanding of play patterns and strategies.
High School Team Preparation: 12-14 Years Old
Will help prepare middle school students
for High School team tryouts. Focus will be on depth and placement of
ground strokes, transition to net and basic strategies. Previous tennis
experience essential.
High School Junior Varsity:
For juniors who have completed a season of
High School tennis or with a pro’s recommendation.
Focus on both singles and doubles strategies.
Point play and match play will be the core of this clinic.
High School Varsity 1:
For top level juniors preparing to compete
at the highest level
Live and dead ball drills. Live point situations.
Competitive match play and match analysis.
High
School Varsity 2:
For students who are at a high playing level and
have completed a season of Junior Varsity. Middle school students
are accepted if they meet play requirements.
